Parents, Guardians, and Special Guests,
Graduation is one of the biggest events in the lives of your children! We recognize its importance and want to create the best experience to celebrate this milestone. We weighed several options given the weather forecast, one of which may be a first for Bedford High School. We ask for your support as we interpret the weather forecast and make the final decision.
Given the possibility of inclement weather on Wednesday, May 29th, Dr. Ruhlman is considering three graduation ceremony options to create the best possible scenario for our graduates, their families, and our staff. The options are as follows:
Option 1: Outdoor Graduation at 7:00 p.m. on the Football Field
Option 2: Outdoor Graduation at 9:00 p.m. on the Football Field (This would be a first in the history of the school)
Option 3: Indoor Graduation at 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Gymnasium
We understand the importance of this day for our graduates and their families, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate these weather-related challenges. The District will communicate a final decision by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29th.
Please remember if the District chooses Option 3, each graduate received eight tickets for guests to attend the ceremony in the gym.
